So am i better waiting till after my run to eat or will running on an empty stomach make me feel sick i did try running one time on an empty stomach but i got a really bad stitch and i felt really tired. So unless you accustomed to it it s probably best not to eat before running or swimming.
I even trained with a girl back in high school who would always eat a snack during our warm up. Leave three hours after a big meal and one hour after a snack. Others i ve noticed don t seem to eat a thing even before a long run.
You should eat before and after the run. It s better not to eat before running if you are going for a short run. Much of what you will use to fuel a run will come from carbohydrates you might have eaten the night before. Before i run i eat a banana sometimes two and i drink a couple cups of coffee.

So it s probably better to eat after running to recover from it. Or when you intend to exercise quite hard. Running after eating will just make for an uncomfortable run. The thing is i am usually starving about an hour after my run.
Depending what you eat you could get gas or it could just feel like lead in your system.
