Even though you cannot change your username in snapchat you can change your display name.
So it is possible to change the name your friends see on your profile. Alternatively you can change your display name which is the name your friends and other users will see when you send a snap or a chat. Change your display name to whatever it is you wish. There is however a workaround that can help make the process slightly less painless.
You can however delete your old account and then create a new account with a different username. Open your snapchat account and then tap on your profile icon on the upper left corner of the screen. You ll have to create an all new username and you ll want to do that before getting rid of your old username. You cannot change the username associated with your snapchat account.
