No Fetal Pole At 6 Weeks Should I Be Worried
Olivia Luz
The measurments came out to be 5 weeks exactly but her lmp was on august 28 about 6 and a half weeks ago.
They said it should have measured 6 weeks and 3 days and that we were off by 1 week and 3 days. If your doctor suspects that it s just too early into your pregnancy to detect a fetal pole they may ask you to come back for a follow up ultrasound a week or two later. I went for an early scan on tuesday 6 weeks to check pregnancy was in correct place and viability. Hi op i went for an early scan as i d had previously miscarried.
If there is no foetal pole seen at 6 weeks it need not mean the worst and not to worry. Pregnancy was not successful. They said plus or minus a week is within the normal range but we were 3 days past that. Sometimes the foetal pole is not seen on an ultrasound why this is so.
6 weeks 2 days scan no fetal pole. There are several factors involved in the detection of a healthy foetus like the size of the gestational sac menstrual cycle measurement error and so on. Hi everyone so i went for an early scan last week the tech measured me at 6 weeks 2 days due to the size of my gestational sac and we also saw a yolk sac but no fetal pole was seen im worried sick as i do not have many pragnancy symptoms the tech did not really seem worried she said i was a tad too early but everywhere i read you should. The pregnancy is not viable if however you go to the follow up ultrasound and there s still no sign of a fetal pole or a gestational sac which looks like white rim around a clear center a miscarriage has likely occurred.
