One of the most common causes of numbness in the hands at night is how you lay down. In worst cases it may get extended up to the arms. That can put pressure on your nerves and cut off blood flow which brings on. People feel numb hands especially at night when not moving nerves and tendons release pressure intensifies.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused when pressure on the median nerve in your wrist which results in numbness tingling and weakness in your hand. We recommend sleeping flat on your back with your hands free above the blankets. Simply sitting or sleeping in the wrong position can restrict the blood flow or put excess pressure on a nerve making. Fluid retention gaining weight not exercising consuming unhealthy food causes swelling in the hands and feet due to fluid retention.
