My rabbits are outside in their hutches all winter with just hay to.
But my bunny never has since he used to sleep in another room. I wannt to get him used to now doing that because i dont mind getting out of bed. My rabbit has recentlyy been sleeping in my room and my birds as well my birds sleeps with a cover on their cage. It is not necessary to cover your rabbits cage at night but depending on your location and the weather you must cover up the cage at night using a tarpaulin.
They don t go to bed at night any more than they go to bed during the day. Should i cover my rabbit s cage at night. If it is too cold then it is a must to cover up your outdoor rabbits hutch at night using a tarpaulin. In short covering their cage at night makes you feel better but the rabbit is unlikely to care.
You should only consider this act when you sense any danger from a predator animal or weather. The rabbit age at night needs to be covered smartly. Moreover covering the cage should only be considered when the rabbit is asleep or else it may freak out. You can but make sure the rabbit can t chew whatever you re using as a cover.
