Why Do You Only Slash 3 Tires Instead Of 4
Olivia Luz
The thought was that should you only slash three tires car insurance wouldn t pay to replace them.
Wouldn t a normal person just slash the fourth and call insurance. W hy do you only slash three tires instead of four. I ve always heard that it s because insurance wont cover someone with 3 slashed tires but they will 4. So slashing 4 tires is the better idea because they have to buy 4 more instead of 3.
If you are going to damage someone s tires there is a popular misconception about how many tires to slash. It is a popular misconception that insurance companies won t cover three slashed tires that it would have to be all four for the car owner to file a claim. It was always said when i was a teenager if you re mad at someone and want to slash their tires only do 3 because their insurance won t pay for it unless it s 4. The car s owner will file an insurance claim under his comprehensive coverage to replace the 3 slashed tires.
If you do buy two tires instead of four it s always better to put the new tires on the back rotating the older ones to the front position. But that s not true. Guys i promise i m not slashing my own tires. Slashing 4 of their tires forces their insurance to pay for it but if you slash only 3 they have to pay for it out of pocket.
