Why Do You Weigh Less On The Moon
Camila Farah
It s because of the lower gravity on the moon.
You weigh about 1 3 on the moon. That means you mass is constant and will remain the same. Since the moon has significantly less mass than the earth it will not pull objects toward itself at the strength that earth will. We weigh less on the moon than on earth because gravitational force of moon is less than that of earth.
We weigh less on the moon than on earth because gravitational force of moon is less than that of earth. A person always has the same mass wherever they are however if a person is on the moon there will be less force. Your weight on any planets is a result of your mass the strength of gravity on the planet and the distance you are from the center of the planet. The moon s gravitation force is determined by the mass and the size of the moon.
An important point to keep in mind is. Remember that you have the same mass everywhere moon or earth. The moon is less massive that the earth and therefore does not generate the same force of gravity. Our weight on moon is less than it would be on earth due to a difference of the strength of gravity on the moon.

So if you weighed 100. Objects on the surface of. If you land on the moon there will be no change in your size and shape. Because the moon has less mass than earth so humans weigh.
The moon is smaller therefore weighs less and exerts less grvitiaional force. Let me get clear.
